Product Introduction

The YPF-(B) series diaphragm pressure gauges are suitable for measuring the pressure or vacuum of various fluid media that exhibit certain corrosive properties and are neither solidifying nor crystallizing. Diaphragm pressure gauges are available in standard and all-stainless steel models; apart from the difference in materials, they also differ in their measurement ranges. In addition to measuring conventional pressures, the stainless steel diaphragm pressure gauges can measure low pressures and vacuums in the range of 1.6 to 40 kPa. For applications involving particulate media or where it is essential to prevent the accumulation of sediment in the measured medium, flanged stainless steel diaphragm gauges can be used. This product is widely employed in chemical equipment handling corrosive media and in low-pressure measurements.
The instrument consists of a measurement system (including flange connections and corrugated diaphragms), a transmission and indicating mechanism (including connecting rods, gear transmission mechanisms, a pointer, and a dial), and a housing (including the case and the cover).
The instrument operates on the principle of deformation of an elastic element (a diaphragm mounted on the measurement system). Under the pressure of the medium being measured, the diaphragm undergoes a corresponding elastic deformation and displacement. This displacement is transmitted via a linkage assembly to a transmission mechanism, which amplifies it. Finally, a pointer fixed to the gear shaft of the movement progressively indicates the measured value on the dial.
